Welcome to our weekly meditation. Today is the second meditation in a seven-part series called Survive to Thrive. For this series we are expanding on one of the designs, based on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, from my new book, Detox, Nourish, Activate. As we progress through the seven weeks, we will be moving step by step through this triad of the journey of self-mastery so that we can truly embody and actualize our soul's purpose. Last week, for the first meditation, we focused on the first step, Survival and Struggle. For this week’s meditation, we will focus on the second step, Healing Crisis.
This week we will be connecting with second or sacral chakra, and the organs of the reproductive system as we take the next step on the triangle and learn how to move through a healing crisis. For each of us to live our Dharma, actualize and embody our soul's purpose for the greater good of all, we must first go through our own excavation and healing crisis to come into deeper communion with who we are and why we are here. The second chakra area is a place where we connect with our emotions, with our inner wise one, and with our reproductive system, sensuality, sexuality, and immunity. It is where we truly hold that frequency of “joie de vivre.”
Essential Oil Alchemy:
Today’s essential oil is Geranium, which will be wonderful for working deep within our second chakra area. Rose geranium medicine is full, deep and rich. It invites us inward, into the Svadhisthana (sacral) center to embrace ourselves fully-every experience, every emotion, every molecule of our existence. The alchemy of geranium beckons us to dive into the dark, inky well of our shadow self to explore the wisdom and soul meaning of our journey, with the knowing we will be embraced through its feminine energy of love and acceptance.
Crystal Alchemy:
Today’s crystal is Ruby. Ruby medicine reminds of the delight and pleasure of physical embodiment. It activates and connects the Svadhisthana (sacral) center to the Anahata center, that of our sacred human heart. Ruby invites us to bring our love to our sensual and sexual expression, healing and transforming our shadow places of pain and self judgement. This gem opens us to greater creativity and the expression of our vital lifeforce.
Visualization:
On your next breath in, envision a beautiful red ruby that is pulsating right in front of your sacral chakra. Your sacral chakra opens to receive the light and healing emanations from this magnificent Ruby. Emanations of warmth and light move through your field and through each energy center. These emanations move through your skin and into your blood, bone, marrow. Rays of ruby light move through each cell, molecule, particle, and structure, down to and through the level of your DNA and each bloodline, mother line and father line, through your ancestry and heritage. Ruby-red light moves into and permeates the reproductive system to cleanse, clear, balance, and awaken your vital life force in this energy center. Breathe, open, allow. On your next breath in, envision your consciousness resting in this sacral area, in a chamber encrusted with rubies and filled with gradations of red light that is warm, inviting, and comforting.
What is it that you have come to heal and bring into the light during this moment, this divine timing, this juncture of time and space, this moment of your life and evolution, and this embodiment of your genetic code, DNA, and family heritage? What have you come to awaken within your sensual expression, your creative life force, and your emotional understanding of your path, your purpose, and the current evolution of humanity?
Breathe, as this ruby-red light recalibrates the vibration and the energetic structures of this part of your body and being. “I am open to receive the most authentic, loving and compassionate communion with myself.”
This sacred communion is the defining projection and amplification of every relationship in your life, past, present, and future. Where are you called to honor your journey—each moment, step, and breath of your life since the first? Which part of you is still living in crisis?
Om Mani Padme Hum We are called to pay homage to the compassionate one, ourselves and to love, forgive, cherish, accept, embrace, and honor ourselves first. Where can you bring the light and empowerment of freedom, sovereignty, and truth to your primary sacred relationship-that with yourself? How can you love and care for yourself more deeply? In what ways can you honor every perfectly imperfect twist and turn of your life to date?
We offer this healing for the earth and all kingdoms of life upon this sacred planet. All life is sacred. May each kingdom of life awaken to the resonance of truth, and embody the spark of divinity and sovereignty that unites us as one. So be it.
If you have any oil left on your hands, breathe it in to close this new memory cell, to complete this circuit of light and healing, and to anchor these frequencies deep within your core. When you're ready, open your eyes and come back to the present moment.
