Adora Winquist is an internationally renowned author, healer, entrepreneur and expert in the fields of essential oils and vibrational medicine. An innovator in the field of aromatherapy and energy medicine, Adora began her studies in the early-1990s when personal health challenges caused her to look beyond traditional methods. Her journeys to Egypt and India deepened her study of esoteric practices and aromatherapy with leaders in those fields. She led her first guided meditation while on a Rosicrucian pilgrimage to Luxor, Egypt. She holds numerous certifications in vibrational medicine and aromatherapy from globally-known organizations, including Rutgers University. Her path led her to further study and graduate from the renowned Barbara Brennan School for Healing, a four-year university dedicated to energy healing with a focus on psychodynamics. She is an instructor with the Brennan School for the Hands of Light Workshops.
In the mid-1990s, Adora formed the first brand to combine aromatherapy and energy healing which went on to become Opus Gaia. This would lead to the first chakra balancing product and energy clearing spray to be sold by Whole Foods Market in 2009. In 2012, Adora founded and built the award winning brand, Adoratherapy, with the core message of “Adore Yourself.” This concept arose through her unique healing philosophy and principles as a reminder that the master key to transformation begins with the inner journey of self-love. After building a wonderful team, she fully exited her namesake to write, teach, and facilitate her healing work on a global scale.
Her passion is teaching others on a planetary scale, at both the personal and ancestral levels to transform limitations in order to access their fullest potential through the Love Frequency. She has supported thousands of individuals worldwide in their transformational journey. With a speciality in trauma and ancestral healing, her clients include Hospice and HIV patients, military veterans, entrepreneurs, women trauma survivors and those seeking to fulfill their soul’s deepest desires.
She is the co-author of Detox Nourish Activate: Plant & Vibrational Medicine for Energy, Mood and Love. This is a revolutionary guide to healing at the DNA level for self-mastery and was named by Spy Magazine as one of the Most Notable Books of 2021. In 2024 Adora won the Business Pioneer of the Decade Award at the 10th anniversary Gala meeting of the Western NC Women’s Business Center.
