Welcome to today's meditation, the third week in our Survive to Thrive series. It is such a joy to have been so immersed in all of the different facets of this healing series, it feels profoundly transformational to me. All of the pieces, threads, and aspects of the alchemies, the esoteric philosophy, and the psycho-spiritual aspects come together in a great synergy that helps us find new ways to thrive in our lives and understand more deeply that our soul work is really our sole work.
We started out this series with the survival and struggle aspects of our energy consciousness, and last week moved through the healing crisis of the second chakra. This week, we are on the third step, the healing commitment.
As part of that step, we will be working with the solar plexus chakra and the digestive organs—stomach, liver, spleen, intestines. The affirmation is, “I am clear, decisive, and invoke the fullness of my personal empowerment.” As we work through the solar plexus chakra, we will find that is not only where we carve our niche for ourselves in the world, but it's where we're able to receive and assimilate energy and information and more greatly embody our personal power. That idea of assimilation connected to the fact that our digestive organs are in the same location as the solar plexus, helps us realize our ability to digest ideas and concepts. The more that we clear, open, and expand, the more we are able to understand higher-level precepts of philosophy and esoteric thought, the greater aspects of who we are from a multi-dimensional perspective, and why we’re here, why we chose to be here at this juncture of time and space with this specific body, family of origin, and life. The solar plexus chakra is also an energy center where we hold places of power struggle, particularly imprinted through our early childhood dynamics. In different lifetimes we’ve experienced either others having power over us, or us wielding our own power in an unbalanced way.
Today we have a beautiful opportunity to refine those aspects of ourselves and create greater boundaries on the energies that we allow to come in, just like we do with the substances we allow into our bodies through diet and nutrition. This energy center, the solar plexus, is where we can get really clear about boundaries, and say, “No, I'm not going to allow in this energy from this person, situation, past pattern, or the exterior world, media and perceived authority.” This energy center is where we feel that connection to authority, and in today's meditation, one of our focuses will be taking back that authority for ourselves so that we can become the core authority in every aspect of our life and claim our sovereignty, divinity, and light.
Essential Oil Alchemy:
Tulsi medicine is incredibly versatile. Its benefits range from the adrenal glands, the digestive system and cognitive functions, among other areas. Tulsi oil’s affinity with the solar plexus is profound. The solar plexus is the gateway to our mental body, and Tulsi is able to strengthen that aspect, that structured level of our field, to increase clarity and decisiveness from a place of divinity. In India, this plant is deemed “holy” oil and reminds us of the sacred light within us. Tulsi oil is a must add to your aromatic arsenal.
Crystal Alchemy:
Yellow Aragonite medicine is potent. This crystal comes in many colors and the yellow is a bit more rare. Its alchemy relates to power and encourages us to clear old patterning so that we can come into relationship with our power in a holy, balanced, clear, focused, and benevolent way. We all carry vibrational patterning and imprints from past abuses of power at both the soul level and the DNA level. We have typically experienced both perspectives of abusive power: another having power over us, and us wielding our own power in an unbalanced way. This energy is rising to the surface of us and of the planet to be transmuted through the collective consciousness.
Visualization:
Place a drop of oil on the palm of your left hand, and take a deep breath in. Breathe deeply, and invite the clarity of your individual intention to evolve on your own personal journey and understanding of self-mastery. Move into the invitation and query at the soul level. What have you come into this life to master and bring your masterful light and love to? Invite the breath to come in, breathing in and out through the lower belly. Invite the root and the foot chakras to open and expand to drink in a greater communion with mother earth. Bring the fullness of your breath into the dantian, about an inch and a half below your navel, into that single note that holds you in the perfection of form that you are. Invite this energy to build at your core, strengthening your connection to the earth and inviting in the holiness of communion with your soul. Invite all else to fall away, to dissipate in dissolve into light around you.
On your next breath in, envision a lemon-yellow sphere of light that is pulsating right outside your solar plexus. It is so incredibly vibrant, bright, and full of life. On your next breath in, begin to drink in this lemon-yellow light right into and through your solar plexus and into this incredible vortex of light, power, and strength. Invite this beautiful and bright lemon-yellow light to come into and through each of the organs in this part of our physicality. The stomach, spleen, liver, and the entire digestive tract. As you drink in this lemon-yellow light, it begins to cleanse, clear, and purify each system of the body. Lemon-yellow light begins to move through your blood, bone, and marrow. Now this beautiful, cleansing, vibrant frequency begins to move throughout your auric field. As it's moving out through the solar plexus, the frequency is lifting, cleansing, and purifying.
Continue to deepen your breath. Open, allow, and receive this cleansing light and frequency to lift any density, dross, heaviness, distortion, or dysfunction from this part of your energy system, physiology, and cellular consciousness. As you continue to deepen your breath and receive, this higher level of light begins to move through and restructure your mental body. This level of the field begins to strengthen and pulsate, repairing this level of the field. You may feel a sense of lifting and clearing from the brain and the mind. Breathe, open, allow. You may feel a tingling, a quickening. You may feel spaces being opened within you.
There is no more time to stay small and quiet, afraid, or less than. Renew your commitment to your soul’s light and purpose. It is time to take back your inner authority, commune with your inner wise one, and stand tall in your greatness and light.
Affirm:
I invoke the release of all patterns of disempowerment, uncertainty, lack of clarity, staying small, and hiding in the dark. I invite the fullness of my personal empowerment, clarity, strength, and decisiveness of my soul, here and now.
When ready, inhale any oil left on your hands, feeling clear and revitalized.
