This is the fifth meditation in our Survive to Thrive series. This week we are going to be working with excavation, and we are going to be working with the throat chakra. The Sanskrit word for the throat chakra “Vishuddha,” means purification. The throat center invites us to excavate our soul path, and is all about liberation, self-expression, and feeling free to embody our most authentic truth and being able to articulate our highest truth with strength and grace.
The organs that are connected here are the thyroid gland and the throat itself, which is an incredible bridge between our mind, our brain and our body, and between our thinking nature and our feeling nature.
This is such an incredibly important center when we consider our path of self-mastery, and how we can excavate deeper levels of our soul work to embody more of our soul purpose.
So these are all of the associations connected to excavation. I think it's very profound too, that when we contemplate excavating our soul path, our highest path, our soul purpose, it's really about coming to a place of deeper understanding of all of the aspects of who we are that were formed, even through our early childhood dynamics. Some of them may seem wonderfully glorious, and some may come with the opportunity to learn and grow. But when we come to a place of looking at those aspects from a place of self discovery, to excavate the deeper meaning of who we are and why we're here, it gives us the ability to integrate ourselves from a completely different platform, paradigm, and perspective.
Essential Oil Alchemy:
Myrrh medicine carries the energy signature of ancient healing arts. It embraces our pain and transmutes it through compassion and universal understanding. Myrrh is an incredibly viscous oil and through this thickness it offers a beautiful energy and a soothing healing balm to the throat center and our overall physiology.
Consider how much pain is held in the throat, how much energy of constriction and suppression and places that we feel limited or hindered from expressing the fullness of our authenticity and our soul's light. Consider the parts of yourself in your life’s journey that have not had a voice. Invite myrrh medicine deep within you to soothe the pain of the past and craft an entirely new future.
Crystal Alchemy:
Azumar medicine holds a very high vibration. It is a light blue stone that encourages us to open to higher levels of our soul's creativity. It's also great for dream time. Place an Azumar stone under your pillow to open up to dreams and expand your understanding of your soul’s purpose in this life. Azumar invites us to move into the unknown places of self expression that our soul longs for. Call upon its medicine to open to a new level of authenticity and high vibrational communication in your life.
Visualization:
Breathe in the myrrh essential oil, as you invite in the clarity of your intention to intertwine around the aromatic molecules, and through your inhalation to anchor into your brain, creating a new circuit of light and healing, a new memory cell.
On your next breath in, envision an Azumar stone that now is pulsating right in front of your throat chakra.
You are invited to place any and all energies that you have carried through this lifetime, through your bloodlines and DNA, through your soul expressions, that you are ready to now release; experiences of being silenced, the holding of secrets, and the patterning of lies through your family lineages and bloodlines, experiences and patterns of constriction, limitation, holding back, moments where you have needed to speak but have not, where you have spoken and it has cut another, parts of yourself that you have not felt free to express or even acknowledge within yourself, emotions of guilt and shame that you have carried through lifetimes.
Release them into the Azumar crystal. As you release, you are aligning the resonance of this center with the resonance of your soul.
You have come to sing your truth in great harmony, unity, resonance, strength, grace, and beauty.
Release all that is no longer congruent with your truth. What is it that you have come here to create from this high soul path of expression, creativity, and contribution?
What have you come to communicate to the world for the greater good of all? That which is true, authentic, and unique to you based on your vantage point, your soul experience, divine knowledge, ancient wisdom, lineage of light, and lineage of humanity.
What song has your soul come into form here and now to sing, shout, speak, and dance? Feel the great expansion throughout your being, body, and soul. When complete, breathe in the aromatic left on your hands to complete this circle of light, healing and memory.
Affirm:
“I speak my highest truth with grace and strength. I surrender and trust the highest embodiment of my soul’s purpose.”
