The brightness of Spring. The reawakening of life. The Spring Equinox is a time of new beginnings, the renewing of hope for the future and the vibrancy of our present. Spring is a time for planting seeds of intention. Fresh, clean energy within and all around us invites the clarity for our soul's desires to surface with new and wholesome perspectives.
The Power of Intentional Gardens
An intentional garden is, at minimum, equal to our physical planting of flowers, herbs, fruits and vegetables. An intentional garden is a sacred mapping of your dreams and desires that becomes magnetized by your loving focus, and consistent visualization.
Where your attention goes, your energy goes.
This is how a modern alchemist turns their dreams into reality.
Cultivating Renewal
In this fertile time of new beginnings, it is the perfect time to get clear on what intentional seeds you wish to cultivate for renewal. How would you like to grow and flourish in this new season of your life?
A Simple Equinox Ritual
This ritual is a simple and accessible way to harness the potent energies of celestial and planetary alignment that occur on the Equinox and energize. You will need:
A piece of blank white or pink paper
A pen
Your clear intention for what you want to seed, nourish and grow to flourish in this next season of your life
Optional items: A white candle, an essential oil or synergy like the DIY formula below, a crystal of your choosing
Ritual Steps
Light your candle if handy. If you are using an essential oil, go ahead and breathe in the aroma for a moment as you invite in the clarity of your intention for what you want to create.
Glance at the image below of the gold circle. Draw one in the center of your paper. Then in the center, sketch a simple sacred geometry symbol to represent the seed of your intention. It can be as simple as a triangle or infinity symbol.
Then envision yourself placing your intention in this form at the center of your circle and then blessing them with your care and your heart, just as if you were patting seeds gently into the earth. If you have a crystal, you can place it over your image at the center.
Visualization and Manifestation
Now take a few moments to imagine your intention fully formed. See it, feel it, allow yourself to experience the joy and gratitude of the full manifestation. This is the real joy juice of intentional creation. Our emotions are powerful forces of creation. When you are done, inhale your aroma again to seal this energy pattern.
Nurturing Your Intention
Place your paper in a special area in your personal space. It could be your meditation or sanctuary space, or as simply as a table that gets sun during the day. Now, of course, you will not be watering your seeds, but you will be nurturing them. Spend a few minutes a day connecting with your intention: seeing it, feeling it, imagining it as if it was already here in the present. Do your ritual for the next month, but know that your intention may show up in your reality even sooner than you expect.
Blessings upon your sacred garden!
