Sage has a beautiful cleansing, detoxifying, and purifying aspect. At the same time, it brings such a resource of strength and ability to tone different parts of our body like our digestive system, while simultaneously clearing away everything that no longer serves us. The truth is the more that we clear ourselves and the more that we hold the intention to keep clear, the more light we can hold in our body and in our nervous system.The greater that capacity is, it allows us to ground a higher level of light quotient through us and then emanating outside of us. This helps our own healing journey and expedient process of shifting and elevating our own consciousness, by being the light we wish to see in the world.

White sage is commonly seen in the form of sage smudge sticks, while uncommonly in the form of an essential oil. None of the Sage oils are recommended for home use because they can have a certain level of toxicity due to their primary chemical constituent called thujone. However, used in the right context, and of course not being used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, they can be very potent for helping us to heal and shift our consciousness. You can either put it on a cotton ball or diluted in the palm of your hand and take an inhalation from it.
