I first came to know clary sage in my early twenties while navigating the very painful disease process of endometriosis. The path of healing and ultimately learning from it was a profound aspect of my personal journey. Clary sage was a critical ally along the way. There were many moments when the pain was excruciating and the voices it carried within it of “being too emotional” or that it was “all in my head”, as if being too female contributed to the pain, were so loud it was difficult to breathe.
